I'm a dad who loves history. After earning a master's degree in U.S. History I nearly abandoned the subject because of the way it's taught today. Then I remembered why I learned to love the subject in the first place, my dad's stories. He taught me that history isn't about names, dates and theories; it's a human story about real people who lived incredible lives and can inspire us still today.
